Art Class

This year in art class the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are learning about Keith Haring. I think Keith Haring is really cool because he drew a lot of cool things with the lines that really  mean action. I think his drawing is cool because he put alot of effort into all of his work.

weekend By:ANGIE IN THE 6TH GRADE

My weekend was so very fun.On Friday I went to a PARTY it was so fun.It was so fun b/c it was suppost to be a "kids" party but the birthday boy fell asleep.His mom is a party girl so she did the party mostly for her.At least that's what every one thought.Nevertheless,the party was fun b/c my friends were there.Then on Saturday I woke up at like ten o'clock and then I had to take care of my little cousins.My little cousin went to sleep on my arm and I had to wait untill he woke up.Then at like one o'clock I went to this place were my dad had to present his team.It was kind of cold but that did not matter.At night I went to Bridgeport to see some people play.On Sunday i went to the park and i spent the whole day there till i went back home.That was the end of my weekend.

JULEP 'O TOOLE : MISS INDEPENDENT

I just finished reading this book called Julep 'O Toole: Miss Independent. That is truthfully an awesome book! It's about a 5th grader who wants some independence for the 1st time and she doesn't know how to handle it. So after many fights with her mother she takes a trip with her aunt and realizes that her mom only does what she does to keep Julep her little girl for longer.

BOW WOW by H

Does any body remeber him.His name is Bow Wow. In my opinon BowWow is a great mucican.Some people think that Bow Wow is better looking than Chris brown. Bow Wow became famous at an early age. Bow Wow is still living the famous life thanks to the world of hip hop.I think Bow Wow should have his own show.

End Of The Year Trips

The end of the year trip is really fun because you do fun activities and you can get away from your family and friends outside of school for about a week or two i think its really fun because you can learn more things discover new things around the world where you havent been there before and in order for you to go on the end of the year trip for all grades you have to have a average over 80 and you have to follow all of the REAH values and dont lie,cheat,or still and take responsibilty

Elm City School

       I strongly believe that Elm City is an excellent school. Before I came here I had never read a book in my life(not literally). My teachers never even mentioned college and I never had any goals. Untill I came here of course. Here the teachers are always making sure that im doing the right thing and are constantly reminding me that I can do it. That this all so that I can go to college.
