THE WORLD WAS SUPPOST TO END BUT IT DIDN'T by angie soto

On Friday my cousin texted me that the world was suppost to end on Saturday at 6:00p.m. I didn't believe her at first bcuz I was confused and plus she always jokes about that stuff.I hate when she does that so i just didn't believe her.But then i was watching the news with my mom.it was in Spanish so the most i of it that i heared was that there was this old man who was saying that the world was going to end on May 21,2011.The weird thing was that he was the same man who said that the world end in 1994.(at least around that time).Then i kind of got a feeling that the old man wasn't so sure because when the lady who was asking him questions said that if they were still alive on Sunday if she could ask him some questions on why he was wrong.The old man said no.I was a little bit more sure that the world was not going to end at that point.The news also said that it said some stuff in the bible that lead certain people to believe that the world was going to end.Then i went to my cousin's house like i always do on everyday that it's nice outside.She wanted me to sleep over because we are like best friends and she wanted me to be with her for the "last days of her life."I asked my mom if it was okayy and she said yes so i slept over that night.When we woke up we went to IHOP.The food was so good and then after that we went to go buy some food so my aunt could sell.We went to her house like at 2 o'clock.Around 5:30 my cousin was counting down the time until 6 o'clock.At like 5:59 me and my cousin were playing around and then we saw the clock turn to 6 o'clock.We turned up to look at the sky and nothing happened.We were so happy and we were just like yes thank you GOD!!!!!I stayed the rest of the day there.It was so fun because we played the rest of the day.I also got money because i worked selling food with my cousin.That day was better than i thought it would be.At last i just want to thank god for letting us live longer.Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3x10,000
